Summer Piano Lesson schedule

Summer is closely upon us.  I would like to create a summer schedule soon. I am going start teaching lessons with 2 and 3 students in my piano studio at a time. I will have students start their lessons 15 minutes apart from each other and their total lesson time will be 45 minutes long. This will give students the opportunity to practice their new songs or their previous week songs at piano lessons. I have been trying it out some and the students have more confidence about their new songs before they leave. They also have more time to practice their notes and take their note tests. I have a keyboard with headphone right now they can practice on but I hope to get another electric piano or small real piano.

I am also hoping to put together a summer concert. We would choose popular music and have the students create music with chords and scales. We will have some singers to help us out with the melody. I have been creating this in my head for about a year now, but I am still nervous as how it will turn out. It will give the students an opportunity to play in a band. Hoping the concert will be in July sometime.

Winter Spring Piano Schedule

 I will be teaching all days except the purple ones.

Mondays will have 17 lessons

Tuesdays - Fridays will have 20 lessons

Christmas Recital

I have been thinking about the holiday season a lot these days. As you may have noticed my piano students have been practicing hard playing their Christmas recital songs. I have great expectations this year as to what they can do if they work hard. Because of this I expect it to be a wonderful recital. I have decided on Dec. 19th, 2012 at 6:00 as the date and time for the recital so please put it on the calendar and schedule around it.    We will have the recital in the choir room at the High School. It is near the Auditorium.

I WAS LET KNOW YESTERDAY THAT PUBLIC SCHOOL WILL NOT BE GETTING OUT UNTIL 3:00 BECAUSE OF THIS I NEEDED TO PUT A LOT OF LESSONS TIMES BACK 10 MINUTES. SO PLEASE CHECK YOUR CHILD'S TIME AND SEE IF IT WILL BE 10 MINUTES LATER.

Please take a moment and check my new schedule for the fall to see it will work for you. Please let me know if I need to make changes, or if your child needs to get in the schedule. I can add a student Wednesday and Thursdays at 3:35. Also note that Sept 3rd is Labor Day and I will be taking that Monday off so Monday students will not start fall lessons until Sept. 10th

ALSO I HAVE PAGES ON THE RIGHT THAT HAVE A DAY OF THE WEEK AS THEIR NAME. CHOOSE THE DAY OF THE WEEK THAT YOUR CHILD IS TAKING LESSONS AND THAT PAGE WILL TELL YOU THE DAYS I AM TEACHING THIS FALL AND HOW MUCH TUITION IS.

Summer Billing

So I will be teaching 11 lessons this week for each student. If you can make all 11 then the summer tuition is $110 if you have planned vacations and know you will be gone I won't charge you for those lessons. So count the number of lessons you can make multiple by $10 and that is how much lessons will be for the summer per student. I still will need to charge for last minute cancellations or no shows, but I am willing to reschedule during the week if possible.

If you want to pay by the month just divide the total cost for summer lessons and divide by 3. And pay me the same amount June, July and August. Or close too the same.
